The Empirical Studies of Conflict Project (ESOC) held its Annual Meeting October 14-15, 2022 at the University of California, Berkeley. Co-sponsors were The Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA), Princeton University School of Public and International Affairs, and the UC Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC).

We invited submissions on a range of empirical studies of conflict, including on these specific topics: policing and order provision in fragile contexts, disinformation and misinformation, refugees and forced migration, climate-related conflict and upheaval, domestic political violence, election violence, and small wars, cyber warfare, and other unconventional tactics in the context of great power competition.
