Data on incidents in Pakistan. The data are generated based on the Worldwide Incidents Tracking System (WITS) that was the U.S. Government's database on acts of terrorism. It contains details about incidents of violence against civilians and non-combatants (including military personnel and assets outside of war-like settings) from publicly available information. We geo-referenced each incident. The WITS data were accessed on Jun 8, 2010 from the WITS website which was at http://wits.nctc.gov/. See Readme for further details and citation policy.
