Anouk S. Rigterink (2019-2020)

Anouk is an ESOC Fellow working on collaborative projects with International Crisis Group. She is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, splitting her time between the Department of Economics and the Blavatnik School of Government. She holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research is of interest to economists as well as political scientists. She studies topics relating to development, conflict and security, and natural resources and the environment. She has authored a paper on so-called ‘conflict diamonds’, and her job market paper asks on how drone strikes on terrorist leaders affect terrorist attacks.
