Emmanuela Dallas was an Administrative Coordinator with Empirical Studies of Conflict and the Bridging Divides Initiative. She was most recently the Executive Associate of the President and CEO of the Asia Society, the Hon. Kevin Rudd, as well as Research Associate with a focus on South East Asia. Previously, as the Executive Personal Assistant to the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Malta, and Policy Assistant at the Permanent Mission of Malta to the UN, she was responsible for overseeing procedures of the UN Second Committee chaired by Malta chaired during the 76th General Assembly. Concurrently, she actively contributed to the preparations of Malta’s non-permanent term on the UN Security Council (2023-2024).
She has previously worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Greece and interned at the Greek Mission to the UN. Furthermore, Emmanuela has experience working at the United Nations' Department of Political Affairs, specifically focusing on Genocide Prevention and the Responsibility to Protect. During this time, she worked closely with the Special Advisers to the Secretary-General and gained expertise in monitoring, report writing, and conducting in-depth analyses on the risk of atrocity crimes, particularly concerning ethnic, indigenous, and religious minorities across various geographic regions. In addition, she has actively participated in a non-governmental organization committed to safeguarding and guaranteeing access to safe water supplies.
Emmanuela holds a Master’s with highest distinction in Political Science: United Nations and Global Policymaking from Rutgers University and loves languages.
