Bio/Description

Camilo was born in Asunción, Paraguay. He moved to the United States in 2011 to pursue his studies, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Cultural Anthropology from Arcadia University in 2015 and a Master of Arts in International Relations from New York University in 2017. Camilo has worked as a Government Relations Consultant at the United Nations Global Compact, an advisor to the United Nations delegations of Paraguay, Afghanistan, and the European Union, and as a research analyst at NYU’s Center on International Cooperation. His portfolio has included issues on sustainable development, corporate sustainability, human rights, press affairs, international peace and security, and counter-terrorism. Camilo has also led a project on electoral information transparency in his native country of Paraguay and has contributed as a TV foreign policy/politics analyst on major networks in the country. He is also involved with initiatives seeking to support humanitarian efforts and the rights of the people of Afghanistan. Camilo has been serving as a member of the Arcadia University Board of Trustees since 2023. The University also named him to their "40 Under 40" list in 2020.
