Bio/Description

Camilo was born in Asunción, Paraguay. He moved to the United States in 2011 to pursue his studies, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Cultural Anthropology from Arcadia University in 2015 and a Master of Arts in International Relations from New York University in 2017. Camilo has worked as a Consultant for the UN Foundation, a Government Relations Consultant at the United Nations Global Compact, an advisor to the United Nations delegations of Paraguay, Afghanistan, and the European Union, and as a research analyst at NYU’s Center on International Cooperation. His portfolio has included issues on sustainable development, corporate sustainability, human rights, press affairs, international peace and security, and counter-terrorism. Camilo has also led a project on electoral information transparency in his native country of Paraguay and contributes as a TV foreign policy/politics analyst on major networks in the country. He is also involved with initiatives seeking to support humanitarian efforts and the rights of the people of Afghanistan. Camilo is a PhD candidate in Public and Urban Policy at the New School in New York and has served as a member of the Arcadia University Board of Trustees since 2023. He was also named to Arcadia University's "40 Under 40" list in 2020.
